English Language House is an Open examination Centre which runs the Cambridge paper based and computer based exams.
Exams take place so long as there are sufficient candidates. On demand exams, such as Key for schools and Preliminary for schools, take place on the dates candidates choose so long as 6 or more candidates book to sit the exam together.
Follow the exam booking procedure to book your exam 8 weeks or more before the examination date. If you are a last minute candidate you may have to pay a late entry fee to book your exam.

Large groups of candidates can book our peripatetic exam provision which means that we can travel to your location and run exams at your school, college or company in the UK.

WRITING AND SPEAKING TESTS:
Writing tests will usually take all morning or all afternoon to complete. Speaking tests will usually take place on the same day but, if this is not possible, they may take place on a different day. If speaking tests take place on a different day candidates must be available on both days in order to sit their exam.

We aim to run all parts of the exam on the same day. |
CLOSING DATE:
The closing date for computer based exams is usually 14 working days before the examination date. 3 OR MORE CANDIDATES MUST BOOK TOGETHER:
Computer based exams are mostly available to groups of 3 or more candidates who book to sit the same exam on the same day. EXAM DAYS:
Computer based exams will mostly be on a Saturday, although other dates may be possible for larger groups. |
