Candidates who wish to sit the DELTA Module One exam and/or submit their Module Two portfolio and/or Module Three assignment for assessment via English Language House should read the details below.

We accept external candidates for all DELTA modules.
The closing date for the Module 1 exam is 8 weeks before the Examination date. ​
To enter an exam please complete the DELTA Entry Form before the closing date.

External candidates who wish to sit the DELTA M1 exam and/or wish Elh to submit their DELTA M2 and/or DELTA M3 to Cambridge should see the information about the Dates and Fees and complete the DELTA Entry Form.

​After this we will email you with the following:

1. Our Centre Number.
2. The total entry fees for the module/s you wish to sit/submit.

1. An invoice so you can pay the entry fees.
2. Details of the date and address where the Module 1 exam will take place. 
3. Any further details we may require in order to make the booking.

The closing date for entry is 8 weeks before the examination date. 
If there are less than 8 weeks before examination date, please contact us to find out if you can still enter. If possible we will accept your entry but you may have to pay a late entry fee. ​

DELTA EXAM FEES FOR CANDIDATES:

Fees for external candidates:

• Module 1  exam                                           £ 276
• Module 2  submitted portfolio                   £ 320
• Module 3  submitted assignment             £ 224

Each DELTA Module is assessed in a different way:

• DELTA Module 1: written examination (you will sit your exam at English Language House, Milton Keynes)
• DELTA Module 2: a portfolio of coursework, including lesson observations (ELH will enter submit your portfolio to Cambridge for assessment)  
• DELTA Module 3: a written assignment (ELH will submit your assignment to Cambridge for assessment)

ABOUT THE DELTA MODULE ONE EXAM

DELTA Module One is assessed via a paper-based written exam. There are two papers of 90 minutes each with a 30-minute break in between. Each paper is worth a total of 100 marks.

Paper 1 consists of 5 tasks and Paper 2 consists of 3 tasks. All tasks are compulsory.

There are three passing grades:

• Pass with Distinction (approximately 150 marks required)
• Pass with Merit (approximately 130 marks required)
  
• Pass (approximately 100 marks required).
