Enquiry on Results
Candidates who are unhappy with the results of their exam may request for their written examination papers to be checked (stage 1) and remarked (stage 2). This is done by asking the examination centre to submit an "Enquiry on Results". There is a cost involved and the Exam Centre will require payment from candidates who request an "Enquiries on results".
An "Enquiry on results" may lead to the candidate’s grade going up, going down or remaining the same.
All Enquiries must be submitted through Cambridge English for Centres.
There are two stages to this process:
* It is not possible for Speaking tests to be re-checked.
** This excludes Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers (YLE Starters, Movers and Flyers) and the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).
To request a Stage 2 Enquiry on Results, the candidate must have already completed a Stage 1 Enquiry and received an outcome letter.
