WELCOME TO THE FREE CLASS ORIENTATION
Thank you for your interest in the Free English Lessons at English Language House.
The Free lessons are suitable for adult students who are either A1/A2 or B1/B2 level. The lessons are only available at set times each year. If lessons are available soon, we will contact you and let you know how you can join. If they are not available soon, we will keep your contact details and we will email you as soon as the next course starts so that you can join then.
If you do not want us to do this please email us and let us know.
If Free lessons are not available for you at the moment you can join one of our paid English programmes if you wish.
We can only accept a maximum of 10 free class students in each class. To make sure you get a place you can pay the Free class booking fee to guarantee your place.
When students pay the Free class booking fee we will book a place for them on the next free course and we will invite them to join a few days before the lessons start. You don't have to pay this fee if you don't want to but we will not be able to book your place and we will only invite you to join if there are spaces left.

About the Free Classes
The classes are free because most teachers who will teach the lessons will be "student teachers" who are attending the Cambridge University CELTA teacher training course.
Sometimes qualified teachers or CELTA trainers may teach the lessons so that the student teachers can watch the lessons.
Lessons may mostly be "good" or "ok" or "not very good". This is why these lessons are "Free".
The lessons will give you extra practice in English but may not help you to improve the English you need; especially if you need your English to improve for an exam, or for your job or because you want to go to study at an English University.
If you have a specific goal to reach in your English you should join one of the paid programmes. Sometimes we have Discounts and Special Offers available for our paid lessons so if you are interested in these please tell us and we will email you with this information.

Sometimes lessons will be a combination of Face2Face and Live Online.
Most Free lessons are in September and/or October and/or March and/or June and/or July each year.
Students who are eligible can join face2face lessons in Central Milton Keynes or can join live online lessons via Zoom from anywhere in the world.
Free lessons will mostly run during the following days and time:
- Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 21:00 or
- Monday and Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00 or
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 21:00
Sometimes lessons will be a combination of Face2Face and Live Online.
How to book your place:
To join you need to:
A few days before the start of the free lessons we will email all students who have completed the booking form to find out if they are able to attend the free lessons.
If they are able to attend we will email an invitation to all eligible students to join. .
To join you need to:
- Complete the Free Class English test and wait for your result.
- Then complete the Booking form and
- If you want to book your place, pay the Free class booking fee.
A few days before the start of the free lessons we will email all students who have completed the booking form to find out if they are able to attend the free lessons.
If they are able to attend we will email an invitation to all eligible students to join. .
