OUR TEACHERS AND ADMIN STAFF
All our teachers are qualified, experienced, dedicated EFL/ESOL/EAL professionals. They all have an internationally recognised teaching qualification in EFL/ESOL (ie CELTA or equivalent) and some also have the Delta (a post graduate teaching qualification in EFL/ESOL). The majority of our teachers hold Degrees from English Universities and have experience teaching students in the UK and abroad. Our most qualified teachers are also CELTA and/or Delta teacher trainers, Cambridge English assessors and have worked as examiners for IELTS, FCE, CAE, CPE and Trinity ESOL exams.

Tatiana is the ELH Director. She is responsible for the overall management of English Language House. She is trained to Delta level and is a CELTA teacher trainer. She has a Degree from the University of London and has over 30 years experience teaching English as a Foreign Language. She has taught for the British Council in Greece, the Bell language school in the UK and many other organisations in the UK and abroad. Tatiana has also worked as an IELTS and Cambridge examiner. Damian is a Senior Teacher, Teacher Trainer and DOS at ELH. He joined ELH in 2018. Damian is CELTA and Delta qualified and has a BA from the University of Essex. He has been teaching English to international students since 1999 and has taught on CELTA and Delta courses in the UK and abroad since 2005. Damian works as a CELTA and DELTA trainer (online and face to face) and examiner/assessor, and has set up and run courses in several locations around the world. He has worked in Russia, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, the UK, Argentina and Brazil. He has worked on several coursebooks for global publishers, including Cutting Edge, Speakout and Roadmap. Damian has also co-authored many EFL coursebooks for a number of publishers. Sergio is an EFL Teacher, Teacher Trainer and Consultant with over 25 years experience. He is based in Brazil and has taught on our CELTA courses for a number of years. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, a post graduate degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and an MBA. |
Mihaela is our Director of Administration at ELH. She deals with all initial student enquiries and enrolments. She is the person all students can come to if they need help or just a chat after class !!! Her door is always open so pop in and see her. She knows all our students' names and has an unbelievable memory. She'll remember you even if you come back after a few years; so pop along and test her memory !! Clare is a senior teacher and the Examination Co-ordinator at ELH. She teaches classes both at ELH and offsite and also organises the exams that take place at our Open Examination Centre in Milton Keynes. Clare is trained to CELTA and Delta level. She completed her training at ELH in 2017 and achieved a merit for both her Delta Module 2 and Delta Module 1 exam. She has a Degree from the University of East Anglia and over 5 years experience teaching English to International students. Clare has experience teaching all levels and all types of courses. Rahila is a teacher at ELH and she teaches both onsite and offsite classes. Rahila has a degree from the University of Lincoln and completed her CELTA with English Language House in 2012. Rahila gained significant experience teaching EFL, EAL and ESOL for a number of years for a number of different organisations. She joined ELH as an EFL teacher in 2019 and has been teaching a variety of classes at different levels. Rahila is currently working towards her Delta qualification. She successfully completed the Delta Module 2 with English Language House in 2025 and is working towards her Delta Module 1 and Module 3 and hopes to complete these in 2026. Simon completed his CELTA at English Language House and joined us as an EFL teacher in November 2022. Since then, he has been teaching General English and Multi Skills lessons to our students at a variety of different levels both Face2Face and live online. Simon's students always give us very good feedback; they say that they enjoy Simon's classes and feel that they make good progress during their lessons. Simon has a Degree in English and a PGCE from the University of Birmingham. He has previously worked as a Secondary School English teacher and has also spent many years in the charity sector working with children and young people. |
