Our Cambridge English CELTA and Delta teacher training programmes lead to an internationally recognised qualification.
CELTA:
The CELTA is an initial teacher training course which will train you to teach English to international students. It is recognised all over the world and most reputable employers will require this in order to consider your application to work for them.

The Delta is a post graduate teacher training course for teachers who have already gained an initial qualification and have 2 or more years experience teaching English to international students.

TEACHER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

This is a short course which will introduce you to "TEFL" (Teaching of English as a Foreign Language) and give you a taste of the basic principals, methodology and techniques when teaching English to international students. These CPD sessions are suitable for teachers who teach children who are under 13 and who have English as a Second or Additional language. You will learn how to assess the needs of your learners, how to plan lessons and what resources, material and methodology to use to target their needs. A certificate of achievement will be issued to all staff who complete the programme. HOW TO TEACH TEENAGE EAL LEARNERS:
These CPD sessions are suitable for teachers who teach children who are 13 to 17 years old and who have English as a Second or Additional language. You will learn how to assess the needs of your learners, how to plan lessons and what resources, material and methodology to use to target their needs. A certificate of achievement will be issued to all staff who complete the programme. |
HOW TO TEACH LEARNERS IN A VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT:
These CPD sessions are suitable for teachers who want to learn how to teach their subjects online. You will learn how to manipulate different virtual learning environments, how plan lessons and how to use digital apps, coursebooks, resources and material to teach your students.
