HOW WE WORK WITH NEW STUDENTS

PRE START INDUCTION
Before you start your lessons we ask you to read our New Student Induction and complete the induction quiz at the bottom of the page. After you join English Language House (ELH) we will send you an email to welcome you to our school and to give you information about how we work and what we will offer you while you are studying with us.
We hope you will enjoy your lessons but if something goes wrong please let us know so we can fix it. DIAGNOSTIC WEEK Your first week at ELH will be a diagnostic week which means we will check that you are happy with your lessons and that you are studying at the correct level. After your diagnostic week, Mihaela at the Elh office will give you your coursebook/s and, if suitable, give you access to the digital material for your coursebook/s. YOUR ELH EMAIL We will also give you access to your own ELH email address and send you your log in details so you can open your email and start using this to communicate with your teachers and other students in your class. material with you via OneDrive. YOUR WHATSAPP We will also create a WhatsApp group with your mobile, the elh emergency mobile and the elh office. You will be able to use this to communicate with us and get a response quickly if necessary.
