English Language House is inside a very famous landmark in the center of Milton Keynes opposite the shopping centre known as the CentreMK.
We are inside the Church of Christ the Cornerstone, a beautiful building in the city center which was opened by Queen Elisabeth II in 1992. The ELH Office and classrooms are on the first floor. |
How to find ELH (English Language House) inside the Church of Christ the Cornerstone.
Enter the church building and go to the church reception. You can ask them to direct you to the ELH office or you can follow the signs and arrows in the building which show you where we are. The Elh Office is on the first floor of the building. See our ELH Office opening times to make sure there is someone there to see you when you arrive. From the church reception go through the double doors directly in front of you and then turn right and follow the corridor until you see a set of double doors on your right. Go through these doors and then you will see a lift on your right hand side and another set of double doors directly in front which lead to a staircase. You can either take the staircase or use the lift to come up to the first floor. When you reach the corridor on the first floor you will see a sign for English Language House above our doors. Go through these doors and you will see the Elh Office on the left. Are you travelling to England by air? The closest airports to Milton Keynes are Luton and Heathrow. From there you can travel by coach to Milton Keynes or pay a little extra and arrange for a taxi to collect you and drive you to your destination. You can also fly into Gatwick or Stanstead and then travel by coach to Milton Keynes. Are you travelling to England on the Eurostar? When you arrive in London there are trains you can catch from Euston Station to Milton Keynes Central. You can see the station in the map below. |
How to find our building from the Railway Station: From Milton Keynes Central Railway Station you can walk to the church in about 15-20 minutes. Take the road directly in front of you (Midsummer Boulevard) and walk straight ahead towards the shopping centre. Go straight over “Midsummer” roundabout and past the first set of traffic lights. At the second set of traffic lights, turn left into Saxon Street and you will see the church on your left. How to find our building when travelling by car: The main roads in Milton Keynes are set out in a grid system of V and H roads. There are many roundabouts in Milton Keynes. The roundabouts all have names. When you enter Milton Keynes, you will enter on one of the V or H roads. Get onto the H5 road. This is the A509 into the city and will take you into Central Milton Keynes. When you reach “North Saxon” roundabout follow the signs to the shopping centre. This will take you onto the V7 which is Saxon Gate and you will see the Shopping centre with Marks and Spencer on your left and The Church of Christ the Cornerstone on your right. How to find our building when travelling by coach: Some coaches go to the train station but most others go the Coachway, just near the M1. When you arrive there, you will need to get a bus to the city centre. |
