The application procedure will usually take a minimum of 14 days to complete. The closing date for application to the CELTA course is 8 weeks before the course start date. Sometimes it may be possible to consider an application made less than 8 weeks before the course start date but please check that this is possible before you apply. |
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ON THE MIXED MODE COURSE
International students who want to join a Mixed Mode CELTA course will need to be able to obtain a visa which will allow them to study in the UK for two weeks. They will also need to prove that their English language level is CEFR C1 or above in order to be considered for entry to the course. Applicants below this level will need to improve their English before they can join the course. |

PAYMENT OF THE COURSE FEES:
You will need to pay the full course fees as indicated in your offer email in order to secure your place on the course. Once payment has been made you will be given access to the CELTA pre course tasks, resources and material which can help you to prepare for the course. This can help you to familiarise yourself with the course requirements and the assessment criteria, work on your language awareness and observe some language lessons to see how it's done. |

The CELTA application fee is an admin fee which you must pay after you are called to interview. It is not refundable unless we are unable to run the course on the date/s of your choice and you cannot join any other start date we are able to offer. Plagiarism:
When you apply for entry to the course our trainers will assess your suitability based on the work you submit. This must be your own work and must give an accurate indication of your knowledge, understanding and personal use of English. Plagiarism, including the use of AI, is not permitted in any piece of work submitted for assessment. Work you submit for assessment must be your own work and produced without assistance. Candidates who submit an application with work that is not their own risk being denied entry to the course and, if found out during interview, their application fee is forfeited. THE CELTA INTERVIEW
If your application is successful, you will be asked to interview. During the interview you will talk to one of our trainers about the course and you will also complete an "at interview task" and a "CELTA checklist". You can take this opportunity to ask any questions and discuss any concerns you may have. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR INTERVIEW?
After your interview you will be sent an email with either a conditional or an unconditional offer.
