HOW TO APPLY FOR ENTRY TO THE CELTA COURSE:
The application procedure will usually take a minimum of 14 days to complete.
Non UK nationals who want to join a Mixed Mode or Face2Face CELTA must have the right to study in the UK. The Elh teacher training centre will need to check that you have this right. We will ask to see your passport and the visa which allows you to study before we can accept you.
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION:
Read the CELTA information pack and see details about the celta at English Language House. Also see the celta dates to find out when the next CELTA courses are available, the celta fees and when you need to pay, the possible timetables of the courses we offer and the different modes of delivery ie the fully online celta, the face2face celta and the mixed mode celta. It is also essential that you read the CELTA Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions for Online Courses before you submit your application.

If your application is successful, you will be asked to join one of our CELTA trainers for your CELTA interview. During the interview they will talk to you about the course you want to join and ask you to:

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR INTERVIEW?
After your interview you will be sent an email with either a conditional or an unconditional offer.
PAYMENT OF THE COURSE FEES:
You will need to pay the full course fees as indicated in your offer email in order to secure your place on the course. Once payment has been made you will be given access to the CELTA pre course tasks, resources and material which can help you to prepare for the course. This can help you to familiarise yourself with the course requirements and the assessment criteria, work on your language awareness and observe some language lessons to see how it's done. |
