HOW TO APPLY FOR ENTRY TO THE CELTA COURSE:
The CELTA course is offered by our teacher training and open examination centre "Elh Training and Exams".
The closing date for application to the CELTA course is 8 weeks before the course start date. Sometimes it may be possible to consider an application made less than 8 weeks before the course start date but please check that this is possible before you apply. The application procedure will usually take a minimum of 14 days to complete.
International students who want to join a Mixed Mode CELTA course will need to be able to obtain a visa which will allow them to study in the UK for two weeks. They will also need to prove that their English language level is CEFR C1 or above in order to be considered for entry to the course. Applicants below this level will need to improve their English before they can join the course.
We recommend that candidates select 3 possible start dates to avoid disappointment.
- Candidates who select 3 or more possible start dates are usually called to interview within 14 days after we have received their application form, interview task and application fee.
- Candidates who only select 1 or 2 possible start dates may be called to interview within 14 days or may be placed on a waiting list and called to interview only if places are available on the start date/s of their choice.
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION:
- Read the CELTA information pack, see details about the Celta at the Elh teacher training centre.
- See the CELTA dates and fees, the schedules and the different modes of delivery that are available.
- Make sure you read the CELTA Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions for Online Courses before you submit your application.
