HOW TO BOOK YOUR EXAM

ELH is an Open examination Centre and we can accept individual candidates and small groups of candidates to sit a Cambridge exam. Candidates can sit either paper based exams on digital exams.
  • Paper based Cambridge Exams are on set dates each year. Candidates will need to apply for a paper based exam no less than 8 weeks before the examination date. The dates of most paper based exams are set by Cambridge and candidates will need to choose from one of these dates in order to sit their exam.
  • Digital Cambridge Exams do not have set dates and we can run these at English Language House on any day and time that is suitable. Candidates will need to apply for a digital exam no less than 4 weeks before their preferred examination date and we will do our best to help.

We also offer a peripatetic exam provision for larger groups of candidates and we can travel to any school or organisation in the UK to conduct paper based Cambridge exams at a location of your choice. The closing date for Peripatetic exam bookings is 4 months in advance of the exam date. This will allow sufficient time to liaise with your team, seek approval from Cambridge to run the exam at your location and organise the administration of the exam/s so that everything will run smoothly on the day and your candidates have a positive experience.
If you are interested in our peripatetic exam provision please
let us know.

We can also offer Trinity paper based and digital exams to small groups of candidates at certain times during the year. If you are interested in a Trinity exam please contact us for more information.

Examination fees are non-refundable so please make sure you can sit the exam on the date/s you have selected before you make any payments. Some exams may take place over 2 or 3 days. You will need to be available on all these dates.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Spaces for entry to exams are allocated on a first come first serve basis. Sometimes we get group bookings for paper based exams and spaces may fill up very quickly. If you plan to sit a paper based exam we recommend that you book your exam date as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
