ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES FOR GROUPS OF ADULT STUDENTS AND STUDENTS WHO ARE UNDER 18s WHO BOOK TO STUDY TOGETHER.

Adult learners must be of a similar level in English. Learners who are under 18 must be of a similar age and language level. Learners must be able to study together on the same day/s and time/s. The group must pay full fees in advance to secure their course.

BASIC OPTION - What is included:

• 30 hours of English lessons at a location of your choice during days and times you prefer.

Price for 30 hours of Face2Face Lessons:  £4,940 per course for a maximum of 30 learners  
​Price for 30 hours of Live Online Lessons: £3,540 per course for a maximum of 30 learners

PREMIUM OPTION - What is included:

• 15 hours of English lessons per week at a location of your choice during days and times you prefer.
• 4 - 5 days of teacher led afternoon language related activities per week
• 1 full day trip and 1 half day trip per week
• Full board in shared Homestay Accommodation
• 3 free places for accompanying staff

Price: £13.995 per group per week

TRAINING COURSES FOR GROUPS OF TEACHERS / EDUCATORS:

The Introduction to TEFL course and the CELTA course are both suitable for groups of teachers/educators and individuals who are interesting in learning about teaching English to foreign students. The CELTA course leads to an internationally recognised  Cambridge University teacher training qualification. We can take bookings for the CELTA course from groups of 6 - 12 candidates and for the Introduction to TEFL course from 10 or more candidates.

INTRODUCTION TO TEFL

Suitable for:

• English language teachers in schools who are supporting EAL learners.
• anyone in school interesting in learning about the principles and methodology used in teaching English as a foreign language

The training is conducted over 5 days and can be delivered either at ELH or onsite at the school. The sessions will cover:

• teaching English to monolingual pupils in schools
• assessing pupils language ability on entry
• developing and assessing learning on an ongoing basis
• preparing for exams  
• developing your personal English Language skills
• methodology and techniques
• resources and materials

THE CELTA COURSE

---

The CELTA course is an initial Cambridge Assessment English qualification in teaching English to international pupils. It is an internationally recognised qualification that is trusted by individuals, governments and schools all around the world.  
The course is offered to teachers in schools as an online CELTA course where the majority of the training will be delivered online via a VLP (virtual learning platform) and the face to face part of the course will be conducted at ELH during your school holiday periods. The next course is a 25 week CELTA from February 2018 to August 2018.  In addition to covering all elements of a standard CELTA course the course at ELH will also include additional sessions on: 

• teaching under 18s
• developing teachers' English language skills

The face to face element of the course will be for a total of 20 days to be delivered in 5 or 10 day blocks during school holiday periods as follows: 

• The first 5 days to be during the Easter break
• The second 5 days to be during the summer half term break 
• The last 10 days to be delivered during the Summer break

Accommodation can be sourced for trainees during the above periods for a small additional charge.
