English Starter
What is English Starter?
Our English Starter programme allows PreA1 and A1 level students to join up to 15 hours of group lessons per week. It is suitable for students who are 16+ years old and want to make fast progress. Students will need to be able to attend lessons from Monday to Friday between 13:15 to 16:30 each week.
Students who need a visa to study English in England for up to 11 months can select this programme.

Students who join English Starter will study with a teacher in person at English Language House in Central Milton Keynes.
Students will mostly join group lessons and study with other students in the class. The maximum number of students we will accept in group lessons is 10 but most of our group lessons have 6 or 8 students.
Group lessons are available when there are 4 or more students in the class. When group lessons are not available, we will convert lessons to 3to1 lessons, 2to1 lessons and 1to1 lessons with less hours per week until group lessons become available again.

We reserve the right to change the days and times of lessons if this is more suitable for the students in the class.

START DATES:
Most students start their programme on one of our term start dates.
However if students want to start on another date this may be possible so long as there are spaces available.

TOTAL COST:
- English Starter x 5 weeks = £1,350 per person + Coursebook fee
- English Starter x 10 weeks = £2,700 per person + Coursebook fee
If you want to study for less than 5 weeks please let us know. This may be possible if there are spaces available in the class.
The price per week may be higher for students who want to join less than 5 weeks.
