B1 Preliminary Mixed Mode
What is B1 Preliminary Mixed Mode?
This is an exam preparation programme which allows students to study part of their course face2face and part of their course live online. Students will join lessons for up to 4 hours per week to prepare for their B1 Preliminary exam. This mixed mode exam preparation course is suitable for students who are 16+ years old and who can study between 17:00 to 19:00 on 2 days each week. Students should be B1 level or above to join this programme. Students will join this programme for 10 weeks or more although if they want to study for less than 10 weeks, this may be possible.
Students who join B1 Preliminary Mixed Mode programme will study part of their course in person with a teacher at English Language House in Central Milton Keynes and part of their course with a teacher live online.
Students will mostly join group lessons and study with other students in the class. The maximum number of students we will accept in group lessons is 12 but most of our group lessons have 6 or 8 students.
Group lessons are available when there are 4 or more students in the class. When group lessons are not available, students will join Three2One, or Two2One or One2One lessons until group lessons become available again.
